As a seasoned travel writer exploring European destinations, I appreciated the central locale, with cafes, shops, and bakeries just outside the door-perfect for a quick coffee or pastry before heading out for the day. The room itself was tidy and equipped with essential amenities, including air conditioning that, while slightly temperamental, was complemented by plenty of towels and toiletries. I found the mattress comfortable enough for my brief stays, moving around the city. For the economical rate I paid, the absence of shared facilities was a valued trade-off. Luggage storage was available, and check-in was straightforward. While this hotel doesn't indulge in luxury, it serves the practical traveler well. Its proximity to the major attractions makes it a smart choice for those prioritizing budget while enjoying the essence of the Vatican.
